Emilia Clarke says goodbye to serial family
Filming for the final season of Game of Thrones is almost complete. Emilia Clarke has already finished her last filming. Now the actress says goodbye to the hit series with emotional words. And that touches also the colleagues.
The end is approaching: fans of the fantasy series “Game of Thrones” have to say goodbye soon, because the shooting of the eighth and thus final season are almost over. Series heroine Emilia Clarke has her last recordings as storm daughter Daenerys Targaryen even in the box. The big project “Game of Thrones” is officially over for the 31-year-old – a fact that seems to make the British actress very sentimental.
On Instagram, Clarke said goodbye to the hit series aired next year. She says goodbye to the country where she has always felt at home away from home for almost a decade, says Clarke. Since 2011, the actress was the mother of dragons in front of the camera and traveled during the shooting, among other fantastic locations in Morocco, Spain or on the Maltese island of Gozo.
My colleagues became a family
“Thank you ‘Game of Thrones’ for life that I never dreamed of living and for the family I’ll never stop missing,” Clarke writes in her farewell post. Her emotional words not only reached her 17.5 million fans on Instagram. Even her series colleagues the farewell of the actress visibly close.
This is how Cersei Lennister actress Lena Headey commented: “Nice words, I love you.” Jason Momoa, who plays Khal Drogo and the later husband of Daenerys Targaryen in the first two seasons, agreed with the 44-year-old.
“It was great, really, and you were incredible,” said John Bradley-West, who made a serial name in “Game of Thrones” as Samwell Tarly.
